Trailblazers Program Set to Evolve with New Reward Structure and Role Requirements

As we approach the conclusion of Season 6, it's essential to look at the changes that will shape the future of the Trailblazers program. The season will officially wrap up on December 15, 2025, coinciding with the cessation of current program incentives. With this transition, we're streamlining the Trailblazer role and updating the reward system to better align with the evolving expectations of our community.

New Requirements for the Trailblazer Role

Previously, we verified the Trailblazer role through Human (formerly Gitcoin) Passport scores using Guild. This method provided a structured approach, but Guild's shift away from Gitcoin has led us to adjust our approach significantly. Now, the verification for the Trailblazer role will hinge on two specific criteria that focus on genuine participation:

• Achieve your Trailblazer role on Guild by completing two straightforward social tasks. Get started here.
• Maintain a Human Passport Score (formerly Gitcoin Score) of at least 17. Check your score here.

This change aims to ensure that the individuals holding the Trailblazer role are genuinely engaged and active within our community. While we’ll handle the verification of your Human Passport score internally, it’s crucial that your connected wallet on Guild earns a Passport score of 17 or higher. This step is designed to close a loophole that previously allowed multiple wallets to operate under a single Guild identity, ensuring fairness and integrity in how we recognize contributions.

Deadline for Role Confirmation

Make sure the wallet you use for Trailblazers is your primary wallet on Guild, which must also meet the score requirement. You need to confirm your Trailblazer role and maintain the necessary Human Passport score by December 20, 2025. This deadline gives everyone ample time to meet the new criteria, but may also create a sense of urgency among members to confirm eligibility and ensure they can maximize rewards.

Reward Structure for The Arena

The changes also extend to how rewards are distributed in The Arena, a central aspect of the Trailblazers program:

• No Trailblazer role + No Passport score → 50% of rewards
• Trailblazer role + No Passport score → 75% of rewards
• Trailblazer role + Passport score ≥ 17 → 100% of rewards

These updated rules apply specifically to The Arena; those engaging with The Undercity will see fewer restrictions. But here's the thing: by linking the rewards so directly to these engagement milestones, we're not just incentivizing participation—we're also nudging the community towards further involvement and contribution.
